We always treat sales as positive and costs as negative. Is there a way to set this globally for data from iplicit?

Yes. Within iplicit there's a setting in Environment Defaults called "Reverse sign in P&L analytics". Enabling this reverses the signs used in P&L enquiries and analytics throughout iplicit.
If you're working in Excel and just want to flip the values being displayed, you can add a minus sign (-) at the start of your formula to reverse the sign of the result. The same approach works when referencing data in a PivotTable or other Excel calculations, by applying a minus sign to the formula that retrieves the value.
