What you told us:
We received several pieces of feedback about how tables and grids look in the new UI:
- Column widths were built for the old UI, so headers were cut off or overlapped
- Stock level columns weren't aligned
- It wasn't clear whether a tick box in a list was ticked
- Selected cells in budgets weren't highlighted
- Gridlines were needed throughout
- Bold body text made grid content compete with the column headers
What we're doing:
These are all part of one piece of work to make tables and grids clearer and easier to scan.
Resolved in our October update:
- Column widths now fit their content, so headers no longer get cut off
- Stock level columns line up
- Tick box states are easier to see
- Selected budget cells are highlighted
- Gridlines between cells throughout tables and grids
Scheduled for our update on 14th October:
- Updated text weighting, so headers stand out from the content below them
