Yes, you can change the posting attribute on multiple lines of a transaction, However, this will only work if all lines in the document need to be updated.
To do this:
Click on the ellipsis.
Select Posting Attribute Correction.
In the example below, we want to update the ‘Fund’ posting attribute on all lines changing it from ‘blank’ to ‘Community Offer’.
After selecting Posting Attribute Correction, a dialog box will appear:
Fill in the fields as follows
Posting Attribute: Fund
Existing Value: Leave blank (since there is no current value)
Line Number: Leave blank to apply the change to all lines where ‘Fund’ is present
New Value: Community Offer
Amend: Select Detail to apply the change to the document lines
