If dates in iplicit are showing in US format – month before day, for example 10/08/2026 for 8 October 2026 – your web browser's language is set to English (United States). iplicit displays dates in the format set by your browser's language settings. Change your browser's preferred language to English (United Kingdom) to see dates in the DD/MM/YYYY format.

Why the date format in iplicit has changed

iplicit now respects the language set in your browser, so each user sees dates in their preferred format. Many browsers use English (United States) by default, which shows dates as MM/DD/YYYY (American date format). This setting is per browser, so you need to change it in each browser you use to access iplicit.

If your organisation manages your browser settings, you may not be able to change the language yourself. Ask your IT team to update it for you.

Changing the date format in Google Chrome

  1. Select the three dots at the top right of the screen, then select 'Settings'
  2. Select 'Languages' from the menu on the left

  4. Select the three dots beside 'English (United Kingdom)', then select 'Move to the top'
  5. Close and reopen Chrome, then sign back in to iplicit.

If dates in iplicit still show as MM/DD/YYYY, select the three dots beside 'English (United Kingdom)' again and tick 'Display Google Chrome in this language', then restart Chrome.
