Why are the Revaluation Journals not showing on the Ledger?

When running the Revaluations routine, journals will only appear on the ledger once they have been submitted.

If the Auto Submit option is not ticked, the system creates the journals as Draft when you click Submit.
If Auto Submit is ticked, the journals will post automatically (subject to any approval workflows).

1. Where to Find the Draft Journals

If Auto Submit was not enabled, the journals will be sitting in Draft.

You can view them by going to:

Revaluations → Draft

2. Submitting the Draft Journals

1. Tick the lines you want to post.
2. Click Submit.

3.Important Note About Reversal Lines

Lines with the document type:

Revaluation: Cashbook – reversal

will post automatically when the main Revaluation: Cashbook journal is submitted.

Because of this, reversal lines do not have a Submit option and cannot be posted manually.

4. Viewing the Posted Journals

Once the draft journals have been submitted, they will appear under:

Revaluations → Posted
