iplicit serves customers across multiple global territories. While access is worldwide, all customer data is processed and stored within specific regional pairs to ensure performance, compliance, and resilience:

  • West Europe (Ireland) & North Europe (Netherlands)

  • UK West (Cardiff) & UK South (London)

Each client’s data is securely held in segregated UK-based data stores, ensuring strict data isolation with no overlap between accounts. Additionally, iplicit uses geolocation-based traffic routing to optimize performance by reducing latency and to meet regional data residency requirements — a critical component in ensuring security and compliance for all clients.

We implement a multi-tiered, geo-replicated backup strategy designed to safeguard your data with both frequent snapshots and long-term retention:

  • Continuous “any point in time” backups allow for granular recovery up to 14 days in the past, enabling near real-time data restoration if required.

  • Weekly backups are retained for 12 weeks.

  • Monthly backups are stored for 12 months, offering a consistent record across the past year.

  • Annual backups are preserved for 7 years, with the option to extend retention up to 10 years for long-term compliance needs.
